Amy Mierzwinski is an avid reader, aspiring world traveler, dog lover, wildlife enthusiast, amateur photographer, and a marketing/advertising executive. Her love of travel began at an early age when she was selected as a Student Ambassador and journeyed down under to Australia. Upon graduation from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication she flew across the Atlantic to London for an internship at small advertising agency. While in Europe she traveled to Ireland to take in the views from the Cliffs of Moher and a few pints of Guiness, stopped by Belgium for a bike ride through Bruges, experienced some of the best Italian food and wine in Venice, and watched the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Berlin. After returning home to the States, she soon accepted a position at the hospitality marketing consultancy, Fareed Zapala Koepke (FZK), where her passion for travel and advertising flourished. Through her three years at FZK, Amy traveled to visit clients in Grand Cayman, The Out Islands of the Bahamas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Looking to further her career, she applied and was accepted to the Master’s program at Rosen College of Hospitality and Tourism Management. As her 2012 graduation nears she is currently conducting research for her thesis, which will focus on social media and loyalty within the travel industry. In September 2011, Fareed Zapala Koepke, was acquired by the advertising agency, Anson-Stoner. Amy now works as an Account Executive at Anson-Stoner and her some current clients include: Peter Island Resort & Spa, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, and Skytop Lodge.
Amy spent the 2011 holiday snowboarding with family on Lake Tahoe’s Mt. Rose.
